Legal Grounds for the Processing of Personal Data
The Company may process your personal data solely for the purposes for which it has a relevant legal basis for processing. In view of the activities carried out by the Company and the purposes for which it processes your personal data in this context, the following legal grounds for the processing of personal data may apply:
– where processing is necessary for the performance of a contract concluded with you or in order to take steps at your request prior to entering into such contract.
– where processing is necessary for compliance with our legal obligations, for the protection of our rights and legally protected interests, or on the basis of your consent.”
Therefore, your consent to the processing of personal data is required only in cases where the Company does not have another legal basis for processing for the given purpose. The processing of personal data is carried out both manually and automatically in electronic information systems, in electronic or paper form, always with a high level of technical, organisational, and
personnel safeguards, in accordance with applicable legislative requirements.
In accordance with a comprehensive set of internal regulations, personal data are subject to continuous physical, electronic, and procedural control. For the purpose of data protection, an information security management system is clearly defined, together with related organisational and technical safeguards, including technical, organisational, and personnel measures. To ensure maximum security, control, technical, and security procedures defined by applicable law and internal regulations are implemented. All persons who by virtue of their job position (or within the scope of contractually assumed obligations), come into contact with are properly trained and subject to confidentiality obligations.

You may request information from us regarding the processing of your personal data, in which case we are obliged to provide you, without undue delay, with information about:
- the purpose of the processing;
- the personal data processed or their categories, including all available information on their source;

We are entitled to request a reasonable fee for the provision of such information, not exceeding the costs necessary to provide the information.

Period of Processing of Personal Data
We process personal data relating to the conclusion and performance of a contract and customer care for the duration of the contract, and thereafter for the period during which we are required to retain such data under generally binding legal regulations, and further for the period strictly necessary in the event that we are required to
submit evidence in judicial or administrative proceedings, in any case no later than until the expiry of the relevant statutory limitation periods.

In accordance with the principle of data minimisation, we process only the personal data that are strictly necessary for the given purpose and retain them only for the period strictly necessary. Once this period has expired, the personal data are erased or, as applicable, anonymised.
Other Processors of Personal Data
Generally speaking, a recipient of personal data is any entity to whom personal data are disclosed. Depending on the nature of the situation, the recipient of personal data may be either another personal data controller (who determines the purposes and means of processing such personal data) or a personal data processor (who processes personal data on behalf of the personal data controller).
The Company does not, as a rule, disclose your personal data to other data controllers, except where it is required or permitted to do so by law or where you have granted your consent.
Consent is not required for the disclosure of personal data to data processors. The Company carefully verifies all entities that act as personal data processors and ensures that they implement adequate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. A written data processing agreement is entered into with each processor that processes personal data on behalf of the Company, and such processor is
authorised to process personal data only to the extent strictly necessary for the performance of its tasks, solely for the purposes of fulfilling those tasks, and for the agreed period.

Clients’ personal data may also be disclosed to sectoral supervisory authorities in the course of performing their supervisory activities (e.g. the Office for Personal Data Protection or the Office for the Protection of Competition).
International Processing of Personal Data
Within the European Economic Area (EEA), the free movement of personal data applies, and the same rules for their processing apply as in the Czech Republic.
In certain cases, our suppliers may process personal data in third countries (outside the EEA), always in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
